Below are our membership options. If you’re currently a member and would like to change your membership type (for example, if you’ve recently retired, qualified or become a student), email us at hello@theafsp.org

Full AFSP member

For qualified family and systemic psychotherapists and anyone else interested in, or working in, the field.

For students of family and systemic psychotherapy undertaking AFSP-accredited training.

Retired member

For family and systemic psychotherapists who are retired and no longer practising (not working with clients or listed as an AFSP-approved supervisor).

Become a retired member

Free student membership

Free membership is available for 1 year only if you’re a student of family and systemic psychotherapy undertaking your foundation year of AFSP-accredited training, first year of CYP IAPT training or first year of DCLIN.

All other students must sign up above for student membership, which costs £71 per year.

Register with UKCP through AFSP

We can support members who are fully-qualified family and systemic psychotherapists with their application to the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) register or supervisors directory.
