In this edition

The April 2025 issue of Context, edited by Matt Selman, explores the art and impact of systemic questioning in therapy. Selman’s editorial, “Why read this sh*t?”, sets a bold, reflective tone for articles that examine how thoughtful, even awkward, questions can create meaningful change. Highlights include insights from people with learning disabilities on shaping better questions, the value of “clunky” questions, and tools like collaborative helping maps to support staff wellbeing.

John Burnham shares 50 practical tips and introduces the PIQUE framework linking systemic questioning with intersectionality, followed by a commentary from Shakira Nkanang. The issue also features an AI co-written piece with ChatGPT, reflections on working in physical healthcare, poetry, trainee guidance, and updates from across the AFT community.
